Francotyp-Postalia Austria Wins Contract for kika and Leiner
Vienna, March 11, 2009
Francotyp-Postalia Austria, a subsidiary of the worldwide active FP Group, has won a major contract to supply the traditional furniture supplier Rudolf Leiner (kika/Leiner). Leiner has ordered thirteen Ultimail 30 franking machines for its Leiner and kika furniture stores. "Francotyp-Postalia's experience was the deciding factor when we placed the order. This experience is clearly reflected in their products and supporting services," stated Paul Koch, general manager of the kika/Leiner Group.
Two Companies with Long Traditions Agree Order
The two companies have just agreed a major order. Each company has its own long traditions: Rudolf Leiner founded his furniture business back in 1910, while Francotyp has been on the market since 1923, supplying products for outbound mail. "That such a comapny like Rudolf Leiner with its long traditions places such high value on our products is an accolade for both our products and staff," commented Anton Kosar, general manager of Francotyp-Postalia Austria.
Market Leadership Further Extended
This new order further extends Francotyp-Postalia GmbH's leading position as a supplier of franking machines to the Austria market. With a share of around 48 percent and 11,000 customers, Francotyp-Postalia is clear market leader in Austria.
