Greater Efficiency and Lower Costs for Outbound Mail - The FP Group Presents its Products and Services at CeBIT 2009
Birkenwerder, February 6, 2009, The Francotyp-Postalia Group, a worldwide service provider for the outgoing mail market, will be showcasing its full portfolio of solutions at CeBIT from 3rd to 8th March 2009.
Visitors to the FP exhibition stand in Hall 3, Stand D45 will see how different mail processing solutions work smoothly together. The Company's whole range will be on show - from franking and inserting machines, to the collection, sorting and consolidation of outbound mail and state-of-the-art digital letter processing. Francotyp-Postalia is market leader in the traditional franking machine business in Germany and Austria, with a share of 45% in each country.
"Many Companies Still Squandering Money"
With its solutions, the FP Group has attractive products and services for small and medium sized companies, as well as for large corporations with high volumes of mail. "Our decisive competitive advantage is being able to offer every company the right solution for its mail processing needs," commented Dr. Sluma, CEO of the FP Group. "Many companies and public institutions are still squandering money in this area. Particularly in economically difficult times, many mail processes can be streamlined, with enormous savings in costs," explained Dr. Sluma.
One-Stop-Shop Mail Management
The mail processing specialist Francotyp-Postalia will be taking part in CeBIT 2009 for the first time as a member of the new FP Group. Following the liberalization of the mail markets, the Francotyp-Postalia Group has developed its traditional strengths in the franking machine business, growing from a pure manufacturer to a comprehensive provider of mail management services for outbound mail. "Franking and inserting machines remain at the heart of our business," said Dr. Sluma. "But today our customers are looking for complete solutions - including the outsourcing of outbound mail and the consolidation of letters - and that is exactly what the FP Group now offers."
Every Letter an Advert
Mail can be processed quickly and efficiently using the latest franking and inserting machines. At CeBIT, the FP Group will be exhibiting all types - from its small mymail machines to centormail. Using these franking machines, companies can add a personalized message close to the franking, capturing attention for their business mail. "Every letter becomes an advertising medium for the company," emphasized Dr. Sluma.
Consolidation Gives A Cost Advantage
The Group's subsidiary freesort looks after the consolidation of mail. That means collection from company, sorting by zip or post code and then transporting the mail appropriately bundled to a Deutsche Post mail center or an alternative delivery service. Apart from lower costs for just the mail delivery, companies can also save on franking charges. Deutsche Post gives a rebate of up to 26% on pre-consolidated mail.
Also at the CeBIT is FP's subsidiary iab internet access GmbH, demonstrating its specialized Internet-based solutions for digital mail processing. Using FP webmail, letters are posted with a single mouse click. iab then prints out the letters, inserts and franks them and passes them on for delivery. The company offers this service to businesses and private customers alike, starting from just a single letter.
At its Fair stand, the FP Group will be processing the daily correspondence of the Deutsche Messe AG. That means that visitors can see how professional mail processing works live in reality.
