FP-Group has New CFO
Birkenwerder, December 1, 2008, Hans Szymanski takes up his position today as the new CFO of Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG, a worldwide service provider for the outbound mail market. Szymanski, who graduated in economics, will be playing a central role in driving forward the restructuring and realignment of the FP Group. "I look forward to my new responsibilities and to collaborating with such a highly motivated team. Together with my Board colleague, Dr. Sluma, we shall return the FP Group to its former earnings strength from 2009 on," said the FP Group's new CFO Hans Szymanski.
The FP Group is now led by a two-member Management Board. Dr. Heinz-Dieter Sluma, who took over as CEO on January 1, 2008, is responsible for sales and marketing, research and development, as well as for personnel and legal matters. Hans Szymanski is responsible for corporate finances and control, as well as for IT and supply chain management. With a degree in economics, Szymanski has many years of experience in the field of financial management. In his last positions, Szymanski was CFO Central Europe at Dematic GmbH in Offenbach and General Manager at Jenoptik Laser Optik Systeme GmbH in Jena. More recently, his professional activities have focussed on the restructuring and reorganisation of cost and corporate structures.
