Award for Francotyp-Postalia Austria
 
Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG, a worldwide leading manufacturer of franking and inserting machines for the outgoing mail market, has announced which of its subsidiaries has won the Best Business Results Award for financial 2007. This year's annual award goes to FP Austria.
Of the eight subsidiaries in the FP Group, the Austrian company reported the best results for the last financial year. Both in terms of revenue, as well as earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA), the Austrian company exceeded targets. The number of franking machines sold was also well above expectations.
"We are very pleased with the way business grew last year. As scheduled, our franking machine business expanded and we managed to slightly extend our market share to now over 47%. Our second "line of business", our inserting machines, also developed well, as planned," said Anton Kosar, general manager of Francotyp-Postalia Gmbh Austria."We are pleased with the award - it is the work of my whole team and naturally a big incentive to bring back the trophy to Austria next year."
