Franking Machines for Small to Medium Volumes

While high volumes of mail – over 2,000 letters per day – are being increasingly processed using digital solutions, with franking machines clearly on the retreat, a new trend has evolved. This involves making greater use of franking machines for smaller mail volumes. There are two reasons behind this change. While companies are increasingly processing high volume mail such as invoices or reminders digitally, they still have to deal with remaining smaller volumes. As these companies are used to the comfort of machine franking, smaller machines are still making their way into secretaries’ offices or the mail room, alongside the digital solutions. At the same time, small to medium-sized companies are recognizing the advantages of franking machines and moving away from conventional “stamp-licking” to machine franking.
