Market Potential for Digital Mail Services
While consolidation is a service that the FP Group currently only offers its domestic market, its digitalized mail services can be used worldwide. Digitalized mail services, or hybrid mail solutions, are new technologies that take mail processing one step further into the future, offering many advantages.
FP’s digitalized solutions enable companies to completely outsource their outbound mail. For example, FP’s subsidiary iab will assume complete control of your mail handling, downloading data streams, then printing, inserting and franking the outbound mail. This is followed by pre-sorting to ensure optimal postage charges, with the mail then being transferred to an appropriate delivery service. As a result, companies can now enjoy considerable savings at several levels:
- Lower production costs for routine mail such as invoices or reminders
- Reduced postage charges due to rebates
- Lower logistics costs by eliminating transport routes from sender to receiver
Compared to the US, these markets - and that also applies to Europe – are still in their infancy. In other words, this is an area with exciting new growth potential which the FP Group intends to exploit at full speed.
In Addition the FP-Group decided in March 2011 complete its product portfolio with full electronic letter services. One of these services is the digital signature. Beside that service the FP-Group will be able to offer the so called De-Mail service to their customers.
