Prof. Dr. Michael Hoffmann,
(Chairman)
born in 1944, Ph. D. in political science and graduate engineer, Hoffmann spent 20 years in industry as a senior executive before founding his Dortmund-based investment and strategy consultancy TMM Technology Marketing Management GmbH in 1991. He was made an honorary professor at the University of Witten/Herdecke in 1998.
Christoph Weise,
(Deputy Chairman)
was born in 1953 and, following the completion of his training as a banker, studied business administration at Bergische Universität in Wuppertal and the University of Cologne, completing his studies in 1983 with a degree in business administration (Diplom-Kaufmann). Mr. Weise has worked for financial companies for over 20 years, including for Citibank AG.
Dr. Claus Gerckens,
Born in 1950, Dr. Gerckers holds a German doctorate (Dr. rer. soc.) and was previously a partner at Arthur Andersen & Co. Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft. He has more than 20 years experience at leadership level in industrial companies. As former CEO of Böwe Systec AG (until January 2009), Dr. Gerckens has very extensive experience in the fields of M&A and strategic corporate development. Sitting on controlling and supervisory boards, Dr. Gerckens has been active in nearly all countries in Europe, as well as in Japan, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
