Birkenwerder, 2nd September 2008. Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG is announcing the appointment of Hans Szymanski as its Chief Fi¬nancial Officer, taking effect as of 1st December 2008. Mr. Szymanski has many years of experience in the field of financial management. After studying economics at Bochum, he began his professional career with Altwert AG & Co. KG in Essen. More re¬cently, Szymanski held positions as CFO for Central Europe at De¬matic GmbH in Offenbach, and as the General Manager of Jenoptik Laser Optik Systeme GmbH in Jena. His activities focused especially on the restructuring and reorganization of cost and corporate structures.

The Supervisory Board of Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG has ap¬pointed Hans Szymanski as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1st December 2008.

Hans Szymanski went to school for several years in Portugal and later studied economics at the Ruhr University at Bochum, where he graduated with a diploma in 1991. He began his professional career at Altwert AG & Co. KG in Essen and Klöckner & CO AG in Duisburg. More recently, Szymanski was the General Manager of Jenoptik La¬ser Optik Systeme GmbH in Jena and the CFO for Central Europe at Dematic GmbH in Offenbach. Major projects controlled by him in¬volved the restructuring and reorganization of areas of financial man¬agement, such as cost structures, the introduction of profit centers, and the optimization and extension of corporate controlling.
